Launch Control Issues
I hooked up the launch control today by jumping the wires on the centre connector, at first after arming launch it had o effect so I grounded the wires directly to the chassis to bypass the clutch switch and still it didn't work.
I took it for a drive and after a few stops at shops and whatever it randomly started to work. Since it started to work I decided to play with it so I lowered the limit. I tried it and it didn't change it just stayed at 4k when I had set it down to 3k. After a little while, just driving along I went to change gear and it decided to go to 3k. changed it back up to 4.5k and it worked, dropped it to 4k and it sat at 4.5k until a random time when I was driving along again.
Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

Im at uni atm so I'll post the msq up tonight or possibly tomorrow sometime(last exam for the semester so I may not make it home 2nite)
I just have it hooked up through the stock clutch switch.

PS Thanks heaps to yourself and everyone at diyautotune for the great service, I ordered my wideband and a couple other things last weekend which I suppose you would have got to on monday(being our tuesday) and it arrived here in Aus on the following monday!

Still trying to figure this whole thing out. Still can't get autotune to work, always get the outside of tuning window message, I think there is much learning to be had. Here is my msq atm

You might want to use a switch or push button on your loop - with flat shift off, it'll go to its regular launch rev limiter every time you change gears if your clutch switch is working correctly.
As for the autotune - The way to adjust the window is a bit complicated. Go into your project's folder; this is usually car1. Open the mtCfg folder inside this directory. There's a file in there called custom.ini. Open it with Notepad or a similar text editor. You'll see a block that begins with [AutoTune] and a couple of computer-speak if-then statements. You want the block that begins with a note that it works with MSnS-E. Inside that block, you'll see a set of notes like this:
xLimits = 1200, 5000
yLimits = 20, 90
zLimits = 10, 150
The xLimits control the RPM range where AutoTune works, and the yLimits control the range of MAP values where it works. The zLimits controls what it can set the VE table to. Adjust these numbers to put the AutoTune range where you want it to be.

The easy jumper to the clutch switch made possible on the middle connector is a convenience measure... the factory clutch switch works fairly good for launch control/flat shift, but there are a couple things to consider.
A) The neutral safety switch will also ground out this circuit. That means anytime your car is not in gear the circuit will be grounded. This plays havoc with using the stock clutch switch for launch control and is best deactivated so only the clutch switch grounds this circuit. Unplug the neutral safety switch.
B) Depending on your settings, launch control may attempt to activate while driving around (when you don't want it to). This is all in the settings, and you can enable flat shift, and then set the Flat Shift Arming RPM to a point so that anytime you 'clutch in' at an RPM above that point, it's in 'flat shift' mode, and anytime you clutch in under that RPM point, it's in 'launch control' mode. The issue is if you have this too low you'll activate launch control briefly between gear changes during casual driving, when you really want the Flat Shift Arming RPM high enough that it's instead activating flat shift at these times as that won't effect you when casually driving. If the Flat Shift Arming RPM is at the right point, then when you are wanting to use flat shift, you'll of course be shifting above the Flat Shift Arming RPM and probably near redline, as long as you clutch in above the Flat Shift Arming RPM it will enter Flat Shift mode and use the Flat Shift rev limiter so you can hold the gas while you slam it into the next gear and clutch out, without worrying about overrev.
C) If you wanted, you could put a 'master arming switch' in the launch control circuit. Maybe a toggle switch on the dash. This would simply break the circuit when you weren't using launch control or flat shift making the clutch switch do nothing, and enable the clutch switches' connection back to the ECU when you flipped the switch.

It has been working fine for a while now, I set the flat shift arming to 3500 now which seems to be a good point. I still don't know what the issue was at the beginning but I am thinking it may have something to do with the fact that the circuit is enganged when I change it, next time I need to change it I might just try changing the settings with it in gear so it is not active at the time.
