Voltage on pin #24? (Tach input)
Hi guys,
can someone with a functioning MS1/MSnSe measure the voltage across pin #24 and a ground, and tell me if they get 5V? I am feeding my MS with the CAS signals (CKP on #24, CMP on #25, standard DSM-like mod from diyautotune) however I'm not getting any response in Megatune, the RPM gauge reads 0rpm all the time.
Now, my board builder says that it should be 5v, is this true?
Thanks,
Jim

Good idea - I have a Dremel that has a variable speed trimmer, so if I can find a suitable way to attach it to the nose of the CAS, it should do the trick.
Btw, I have tested the CAS itself by connect it up to my oscilloscope, I get the expecte pulses (ie as expected by the slotted disc) just fine.

goto Home Depot and get some rubber 3/8" rubber hose and use it as a coupling.
