Is there a preferred injector format to use with the MS systems?
ie: Low impedance vs high impedance?
I'm planning full ecu replacement... and was looking at a set of 550 RX7 injectors (direct miata injector replacement). I can scale for this size injector without issue also right?
Thanks,
Dave

I figured I wouldn't have issues with 550... but figured i'd piggyback that on the real question

since there's already a thread for this, might as well semi-hijack and add a bit more meat to it. I'm currently hunting for the ever-popular 460/550 rx7 injectors that are direct drop ins, but which other ones are going to be direct fits at the head/rail, but just ened new connectors to be soldered in?
will the 195500-1350's with the red tops (the high inp version of the 1350's) slide into the head and fuel rail without issue, requiring only new square connectors? I imagine that attempting the low imp version would lead to a similar issue as the issues you had wite the dsm injectors, however.

*IF* you can sustain 60psi fuel pressure into boost, you're good for 300whp at 80% dc. If you start at 60 psi but drop into the upper 40s-50psi (like what I keep reading) you still have enough fuel for 260-270 at the wheels.
