Just finished!
Yay, i've just completed building my MSI V3.0 pcb!
now to a question, or 3...!
Pre the ignition mod for my car all the pots on the Stim worked perfectly, after following Jerrys mod on DIYautotune, the Stim can no longer alter the revs, everything wlse works however.... is this normal? (please be normal!)
Also I noticed that kags snipped off some components from his prebuilt V3 board, yet omitted a few resisors beneath the LED's that are mentioned in Jerrys mods. Is this just 2 different way's to 'skin a cat'?
Here's a pic of the underside of my board with the spark mods, look okay?
Lastly! (phew) I couldn't get hold of 1/4w resistors for the ignition mod, so had to use 1/2w ones, I assume this is okay? the guy in the electronics store seemed to think so?
Thanks!!

the 1/2w resistors should be fine....
As for tach signal on the stim if you've configure MegaTune for dual spark outputs (wasted spark) it is looking for a wheel to decode in order to know what the engine speed/RPM is, so a standard stimulator tach signal won't trigger it. You can configure the wheel decoder settings and then enable 'Stim for Wheel' to test it though, this will simulate (in software) a wheel to decode and allow you to test the unit with the stimulator still. MAKE SURE you remember to disable 'stim for wheel' before installing the ECU in your car!

Do you have it configured for 4 cylinders? If it sees an uncompatible config you won't get any RPM. For instance, 8 cyl, with only two spark outputs configured, will do nothing since you can't use only two coils with an 8 cyl engine.
Send me your .msq file and I'll take a look.
