Default megasquirt and a FPR

i still have my FPR installed from before i had the megasquirt installed. when i was running a non-intercooled set-up the car would run fine at 5psi

now i have my wideband and intercooler on and the car isnt running right. im still at 5psi..

the guy who installed my intercooler and wideband said its fighting with my megasquirt and thats probably causing the fuel issues.

idk if this helps but i have a log of the car trying to idle. i still need to hold down the gas because once it dips down past 1k rpms the car will just die

its not fighting it, just tune the fuel to see the correct AFR. are you running teh 255 and 550cc injectors as in your sig?!

also, install tuner studio.

wtf am i supposed to do with that log? are you running narrowband? are you just revving at idle?

All that's required is that the FPR be consistent, and work within the pressure range that the injectors are 'happy'. It would be best if it were 1:1 or constant pressure, but as long as it's consistent you should be able to tune for it.

As per the above. There's advantages to using a rrfpr, it means you can keep smaller injectors on higher powered cars and retain good idle characteristics

no 550s or 255 yet.. im doing this one step at a time and thats all thats left.

i have the tuner studio full version

i got thru hooking up the wideband to the megasquirt and the car can happily idle now.

i ran VE analyze live earlier and it worked great, untill i was about 1/2 mile away from my house coming back from my drive.. the tune went to uber crap and i had no power. just backfires and the car was very jerky.
