Default 01 5spd Reverse Shudder ???

Hey guys,

Question:
I have just started to have an issue with reverse. When going to backup I put the trans in reverse and then start to backup the car shudders horribly. It feels like it wants to go reverse and forward at the same time. I found that if I hold the shifter down and towards the driver’s seat (while still in reverse) it backs up fine. Any Ideas? All other gears are fine.

stock clutch, open diff. I don't think its the same "clutch shudder" that is common. I can control when it does it with the shifter handle.

If you raise the rpm and let the clutch out very slowly does the condition change?
