Tanabe. Same profile as the one in my RX7. Does an OK job, but is heavy.

Default end peices

the mounts for that are going to be realy high for a N/A miata. Not much of a bend in the bar. Any decent shop should be able to make a mount for you.

Toonabee would have something etched in the alum...prolly ebay. The reason you cant find the end pieces is because they broke.

Thanks all.

I plan to buy a 2nd one and use them as raw material for a V brace from rollbar to windshield header.

90 01 99 00 Mazda Miata MX5 MX 5 Front Upper Aluminum Strut Tower Bar Brace | eBay

Sucks. They jacked up the price. I bought mine a few years ago for $28.

Hmm, that one has bends much sharper than mine.

Mine is fairly flat like that. The mounts have a full circle on the bottom which is supposed to make it more effective. It reduced cowl shake anyway. Wouldn't you want to make a roll bar to windshield header brace out of something stronger?

it's different that the one i have, but looking at it gave me an idea to bolt it to a joist in the basement and make a pull-up bar with it.

I wouldn't trust eBay metal with my weight.
