EMS4 (not) Logging Problem
I'm having problems with internal ECU logging on my EMS4. I have it setup to log whenever the engine is running, and to loop the log when needed. In AEM Tuner's ECU Logging page it shows over 80 minutes of available logging time, but I'm only getting short, truncated logs.
At an autocross today where we had about 45 minutes of total engine running time, I only got the first 11 minutes in the log. I've had similar results at other autocrosses recently.
Has anyone else with an EMS4 experienced this?
Sav, any thoughts?
PS: It was not a good day for MT.net folks: Bob Bundy had an alternator failure, my wife cracked our radiator with a cone hit, and David DeRegt's car broke down as well...

Mine doesn't work either, I can't clear it and retrieving it would take over 33 hours by my calculation. 6,700,000 blocks to download.
I have been using PC Log but I am not sure how easy that would be to do during an event, as loose items may be prohibited.

Someone post your log profile settings and I'll take a look. There is some silly logic behind it I'm sure.
The problem with PC logging, (depending on why you might be interested in logging of course) is the number of fast channels.

I finally called AEM about this. They said it's because I had Loop Logging enabled. Apparently loop logging doesn't work and screws the logger up. It'll be a couple of weekends before I run the car again to see if that really fixes it.
BTW, AEM's forums are back online (but without most of the old forum content). But they are answering questions online again. Forums | AEM
