I have the Sebring kit, how big is too big for an intercooler for this sc setup? I was planning on a front mount with header wrap, track dog heat shield, and a vented hood to settle down my intake temps. I auto x this car.

What about a water to air intercooler ?
Refill reservoir with ice water between runs.

I used an over the radiator FMIC with 2 inch piping. All of it was from eBay and the Mazdaspeed Miata.

Pretty much any A2A intercooler is going to make the already awful throttle response even worse.
You can commit yourself to further pain with a W2A intercooler in hopes of maintaining a little throttle response and fending off a searching idle, or you could go to a dual throttle setup and run as big of an A2A intercooler as you want, or you could cut you losses and ditch the M45 turd.

I wouldnt air to air on an M45. Its too small to begin with. I'd spray water pre-blower, and make sure the intake is drawing cool outside air into the blower. The colder the air entering the blower the cooler it'll be exiting, and the more boost you'll make.
