Default what is a Kenne Bell worth? Is it worth keeping on

I just bought a 01 with a kenne bell twin screw currently on 6 psi....kinda wanting to go turbo route since im very familiar with turbos.

Car is NOT intercooled...i do have all the books and different pulleys to run more boost.

What do used KB superchargers sell for?? has about 15k miles on it.reason i ask is at 6psi im not happy with the current power level......Thanks

FWIW kenne bell has a HORRIBLE reputation for customer support unless you were the original buyer. They dont even have vendors, you have to buy direct.

My buddy has a toyota pickup w/ a ford 5.0 with a early KB kit and it is literally just a hot air pump. We put MS on it and the IAT sensor was almost always maxed out. We ended up cutting the manifold in half and custom fabbing a Water to air intercooler on it. Brought the temps right down to where they should be.

I wouldnt keep the KB, but I also have no idea what it might be worth. They are pretty rare. Ebay??

Get an intercooler and run like 12 psi, then tell us if it makes you happy.

Do you have a tool to change the pulleys?

I have a KB setup, with water to air intercooler. (not running yet, still have to put motor management). But i have a 12PSI pulley installed, and want to put a 9PSI pulley.

Or would the 12PSI be possible on a stock engine ,transmission and diff, with just a different clutch?

According to kennebell that should give about 235 rwhp...

I think they put the pulley with lock tide, cause it will not come loose... :(

Keep the 12psi pulley, install an FM Level 1 clutch. Everything else will hold up.
