Did they now? Because NA Bils have lower perches, do they not? Sorry about that... my mistake.

So aside from tophats and bumpstops, anything else I need? I bought these. They have a spring isolator for the top. I've read something about another tapered nut or something?

All this stuff is starting to add up... lol making it as expensive as coilovers.

Hrmm... time to do some searching.

Logic would assume, that if they are in fact lower and I go with a 6'' spring I should have no problem hitting the 12'' height I want. Or go with a 7'' spring (cheaper and easier to find) and settle with 12.5''.

Decisions decisions...

I've had two sets of those. There 450/350, 6", 2.5 springs. My dad is actually running those collars with na bilsteins, I'll try to get a pic. He is also on 450/350 at the moment until we can find a higher front spring. Dont use tthe isolators, just let the spring rest on the top hat.

Falcon and jacob300zx, why are you guys using the 93-97 Altima coilover sets? Are they larger ID sleeves to fit the larget Bilstein body? Are there any other vehicle sets that will fit as well? I am trying to find a set similar to the ones shown in your links but am not having any luck. There are several others avaliable on ebay, but I would rather get something I know someone else has used on a miata. Most of the vendors can't even tell you what the spring rates or lengths are on their coilover kits.

They were for miata's back in early 2010, that might have changed since then. Try the ebay coilover thread on miata.net.

I think 46mm is the better bumpstop choice-at least for the rear. The 36 are much stiffer initially.

Oh, so the miata coilover sleeves fit the larger diameter bilstein shock bodies? I thought maybe the Altima ones would be needed due to a size difference. I am only planing on using the sleeves with my own springs, but am trying to avoid fitment issues.

the sleeves are all the same. don't be fooled by the "miata fitment" or "altima fitment" BS. They all come out of the same factory and are all universal.
