Default Clutch questions

I already have an OEM PP and flywheel off an 05 with supposedly low miles.

My car makes 200 lb-ft according to my butt accelerometer.

Based on the fact that the ebay Stage 3 clutches are holding 250 whp with ease on a stock PP (according to braineack), the cheapest option for me is to just get a friction plate that works with the OEM PP that I have.

What do you guys recommend?

I am thinking of these:

Organic clutch disc with solid hub for Mazda Miata :: Mazda Miata :: Clutchnet Manufacturing USA

Organic clutch disc with sprung hub for Mazda Miata :: Mazda Miata :: Clutchnet Manufacturing USA

I read that there's an issue with clutchnet clutches not disengaging - but that's only when used with a clutchnet PP, not OEM correct?

Of course I searched, ***.....hours and hours on end, and came to the conclusion that the problem is the pressure plate, not the disc itself.

I thought I saw act disks for like 100-120 a while ago. Pretty sure act is proven to be decent with miata's. I'd look into one of those honestly

um dude an eom pp is nothing special the ebay special pressure plates do as well or better and that **** is dirt cheap. The only reason the 1.8 clutches can hold more power is becouse they have more surface area. The ebay clutches will hold your **** fine. If you plan on making alot more hp go with a act etc clutch deals are everywhere. And there are a **** laod of threads on here about clutches come on man u should know better.

I had one in the corrado where the center section wore into the flywheel, then another one (had to replace that day) and after a few weeks the ring-o-friction material broke off and floated around. They refused to warranty them both times because they're shady ------s. Don't give them a cent, it will not end well.

after my ordeal, I just cant recommended them anymore. I've seen, with the same "kit" at least 4 different styles of clutch discs. But yes the PP seems to be the problem, but I also couldn't get an ACT disc to work with a centerforce PP, so I also don't like mix and matching..

For $350 I think the FM Stage I looks perfect.

I have heard good things about the F1 clutches on ebay, and I'm using one that so far hasn't given me any problems. I've also heard that they're just clutchnet clutches that have been relabeled.

Speaking of clutches, I thought I lost mine this morning. I stalled it twice and was like wtf?! Turns out the push rod's lock nut came undone and the rod threaded itself shorter and shorter as I drove, eventually as I pulled into my parking space I couldn't disengage it.
