Upon further reading not on a cell phone, it appears that is the more common length.

Yeah.. I'm actually running 7/7 right now but I don't recommend that. Stick with a 6'' front. Not enough ride height adjustment with the 7'' 700 and stock hats. Must have ISC hats to have any sort of adjustment.
