Has anyone seen or used these before? I did a google search and didn't see anything on MT, but these look interesting.
These are pretty $$ (for 8), but I think it's an interesting side effect that alignments are discretized. Less fine adjustment, but repeatable, which seems cool. What I'd really like to hear is how strong they are.

i have a set im installing tomorrow. i am only putting a pair in the front camber bolts as thats my biggest problem area. they are pretty stout and tolerances are pretty close but not perfect by any means.
All eccentric fastener joints on our aircraft wing design use a very similar type of eccentric lock. That means these are probably going to solve the issue of the slipping eccentrics.
I'm glad someone made a custom set because the standard off the shelf parts we use cost $$$ and don't come in metric sizes.

The Holy grail would be reproducible shims.
The problem is the small differences between the nubs on the subframes.
It's a question about making 16 different custom shim sets (or e.g. 8 sided washers).
But if you have experienced a cam bolt loosening in a corner, you would want to prevent it.

You can flip the center piece and get the other 8. Again there is a little bit of play once installed. I was able to acheive -3 camber perfectly on both sides. I think it was that these aren't really needed but more so added insurance.
I'd rather just use the current method of REEF the **** out of them. Or if you're just running a more normal miata and never change your alignment settings, just tack weld the adjusters in position.
^thats what emilio told me to do. The alignment bolts are a wear item because they end up stretching at "tight enough"
Granted I dont race my car, but I've been on very rough roads (like broken concrete) over 1g cornering, and not had any problems. I am guessing I have 1 more alignment out of my current bolts.
Although long term, it would be better to have locking mechanisms, because the alignment bolts arent cheap.

I have 8 of them waiting to go on my car before this summer. I had my alignment shift twice on track last year despite having made the bolts pretty damn tight(although to be fair I'd done a few alighenmts with those bolts and they were likely plastically deformed at that point). Missing a session to do a trackside alignment on crooked pavement isn't my idea of fun. I'm really hoping these will allow me to maintain specs without having to make the bolts concerningly tight.
Bumping this because I can't seem to find any other opinions on these. Anyone have any updates on these? I'm about to install poly bushings and extended LBJ on my car and I was wondering if it was worth throwing these locks in there.
