From my extremely limited knowledge of engine mounts I'd say get something on the "soft" side. If you get something too hardcore the car will vibrate like crazy and drive you nuts.

Everyone who isn\'t using comp mounts is a moron. Anything softer and the shifter feels like ****. Anything stiffer and the car rattles itself to pieces.

FM, think 949 sells them too. Apparently trackspeed sells them as well.

Sorry to necro-bump this thread, but I thought some of you might find this useful. I recently purchased these "Mazdaspeed" mounts from Corksport believing they were Mazdacomps (before I read this thread). Lo and behold, it turns out they really are MazdaComps. Corksport's price beats everyone but MazdaComp by a good margin for those of you without a membership.

As an employee of CorkSport, I can verify that we do in fact just list the Mazda Comp mounts as "MazdaSpeed" because back when we started carrying them that was still the brand name they were sold under, and we never got around to changing it.

Before you all go to our website and notice that the picture is wrong, yes, I know.

Also, they're $76 a pair on our site.

I figured as much when I was doing all this looking around before making this thread. No problem bumping this thread with good information and a confirmation of what you guys really mean by "mazdaspeed". Thanks!

Late post, but I just installed Mazda Comp mounts from 949 Mazda Comp Motor Mounts 90-05 Miata and it's unbearable. Coming from the guy that has racelands that says a lot :(

Yeah they transfer a lot of vibration it's ridiculous. I can't drive at more that 65 without feeling the car is falling apart. I drove about 300 miles already with them...

If they're giving that much vibration, is it possible that something else is very wrong? Like... loose subframe? 7/10 fasteners throughout the entire car missing?

I don't see how that can be possible. Only the brackets and mounts were taken off nothing else was touched.

I don't either, which is why you're getting the responses you're getting.

You might be the only person on the face of the planet besides 90 year old Miata.netters with raging hems that find these mounts to be awful in the comfort department.
