Default Help identifying ACT clutch

As the title states, I have an ACT clutch that was pulled from a 90 Miata with a 1.8 swap. The wear on it looks minimal(I'll measure it soon), I was hoping to use it on my set up, or at least the pressure plate.

This is the only mark I could find on it.

I'm a little confused on the combination of springs and rubber nubs. I can't find anything like it on the ACT website.

Thanks in advance.

The pressure plate is this:
MZ014 // Advanced Clutch Technology

Which I think is for a 1.6. I'm still not sure about the clutch.

ACT and the now discontinued 949 clutch are the only after market clutches for 1.6s that I know of. Well, those and ebay.

It does look remarkabely like my 949 1.6 clutch though.

The pressure plate ident numbers are on the inside of the diaphragm lever fingers. Flip it over and look inside. A phone call to ACT support will tell you what they mean if you can't figure it out.

The clutch disc markings are from the company Daikin, and were the discs used for the ACT HDSS and XTSS kits a few years back. Daikin also makes Exedy, IIRC.

Thank you for the quick replies. I guess I'll put this up for sale.

i can name like 4 others.

That's a ACT HD. they used their PP with cheap oe replacement clutch discs.

it's a 1.6L sized clutch.

Sorry for reviving an old post, but I was curious if any one has any info about this set up. This is what I installed in my car some time ago thinking it was a FM happy meal set up.

The flywheel is from ACT:

I'm not sure on the pressure plate or clutch:

These are the only markings I could find on the pressure plate:

I can't find any markings on the clutch:

I going to install an ACT clutch this weekend.

I'm going to replace the pilot and throw out bearing, but I'm sure if I need resurface the flywheel(or if I can) and replace he rear main seal. I don't see the rear main seal leaking, and its only about 5k miles since the rebuild.

I'm replacing the clutch because it was slipping under full boost in 3rd gear and would get worse in 4th and 5th.

We had slippage issues with an FM1 on our MSM setup, before we cracked the disc. I think it just depends how quickly the power hits and how hard you are on it.

I haven't been too hard on it for fear of catastrophic oil/coolant leakage. So far, rear main seal leaking slightly, and oil drain on the turbo is leaking slightly.

I am still running the factory cat back exhaust, I'm not sure how much power it is making or how soon. I need to start data logging. So far its only been auto tuned, and my internal wastegate is getting vacuum source from the intake manifold. I'm not sure if that helps with boost wanting to taper off at the top of the rpm range.
