Apparently the PROPER way to install new wheel studs is to press them in. Sure you can use the "pull with a nut" method, but that's not kosher.

So just grab your trusty harbor freight tool and press them in.

Clamp the ball joint tool in a vice and stand on it.

 

Do you need gorilla feet shoes when you do this?

 

I press in my studs by mounting my wheels.

 

Either those, or orange colored Croks are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY

 

 

so does 99% of the world, but that's no bueno

So for the 1%er lifestyle, use the holy harbor freight tool.

 

I've also electricuted myself about 23 times now in one weekend.

So one of my studs is loose and looks like it's time for replacement. Any other methods of doing this without taking the hub out?
