Default Leaky turret six speed

My six speed is constantly weeping juice from the top of the trans. Boots are in good shape. I've tightened the turret bolts with minimal luck. There's no dealer for a hundred miles. Is this something I could clean up and seal with grey rtv, or should I spend the money, and get killed on shipping, when I'm going to use rtv on the gasket anyway?

I don’t think there even is a gasket there. I’ve been running mine with rtv only with great success.
