Interested in hearing how much more noise these make. Do the 3.63's make more noise also?

OEM R&P (including 3.63) are essentially silent. Having a slightly lower helix angle, I'd imagine the MF 3.3 is very quiet but not entirely silent. My guess if you are making enough power to require 3.3's, you have other stuff making more noise. In any case, if a tiny bit of NVH is not your thing, you probably shouldn't be building a turbo street Miata.

By the time you get someone to answer this, it won't matter, because they'll all be gone.

^ Hence why I ordered them; SOMEONE will want them down the line if you don't like the noise.

I lined my trunk floor with peel-n-seal and frost king foil backed foam and it eliminated a large amount of exhaust noise from back there. I imagine this will help quiet things somewhat but TBH if the top is down you'll probably struggle to hear it.

Just ordered mine. Per the notes on the web site, are these gears shot-peened and cryo'd, or is that just boilerplate specs?

You guys are worse then the ammo scare when there was no .22 left cause everyone went and bought it all at once lol! When these are gone is it not possible to get more made with enough money up front from people willing to buy them? Are they made of unobtanium? (Serious question...Im new to the Miata game)

When I saw these on the website, I didn't think about it as I figured someone was stocking them? I see urgency now, so just ordered a set. As to axles, I have had discussions with DriveShaftShop, and no problems. However stockers are so cheap and plentiful, and the Mazdaspeed are basically unobtainium, that it is hard to justify something custom just for a cheaper OSG alternative.

Savington you said they came in 2 day shipping? How long did it take for them to ship?

Mine shipped in 2 days. They are on their way to me now.

And I believe they are out now, if my numbers are correct. Stock does not appear to be updated live.

Yeah I just did the numbers... and counted 8 people who ordered here after it was said only 9 sets were left. (Actually by my count they should be gone also). I ordered mine. Been planning on this since last month. Was gonna get the 636. But this was around the same price and I should save some money on gas in the long run lol

The site is still showing them as available.

I don't see a supply count either, just a green check box saying that they're in stock.

Mine is on it's way. I was wondering where people were getting the # they had too. They list front and rear limited slips for my 04 VW R32 too and one of those is on sale. That and you guys are probably going to talk them into a 6 speed gear set from the sounds of it. Sort of wish I'd never started browsing that site. This is adding up quickly!!!

Still got a NIB 3.63 I'll probably never use now too...........

lol y'all acting like it would be a bad thing if they kept making them. who cares? those that want/need a 3.3 are getting a killer part that was deemed a myth just a few months to a year ago, this is really cool. And I'd be surprised if MF didn't see the demand these have and started pursuing making more, as well as more trans stuff for Miata's. It's probably the only weak link left on turbo'd miatas.

Heck, I bet already most of the other companies have offered to sell their stuff and be their distributor, or do another run of these in the future
(that's the only reason this thread hasn't been flagged repeatedly for "non vendor" by now )

...But seriously MF: y'all gonna have to become a vendor if this keeps going.
