Default Photo thread for Lowering Springs?

Hi Everyone!

New Miata owner here! Great site, love all the technical info and discussion! Is there a thread here that compares the ride heights of the various lowering spring options out there? Maybe I am searching wrong, but wasnt able to find one. Any help/ guidance would be appreciated. I am still debating between going the expensive fiddly route with the Xida/Fox/Ohlins coilover systems or going the budget route with Bilstein/KONI and lowering springs & racing beat front sway bar. Im not terribly interested in cobbling together the Bilstein coilover set (yes, I've read that thread entirely). I plan to use the car for a fun 2nd car, mountain roads here in WV, and an autocross every now and then, but it will mostly be driven on the street. Just trying to get an idea if there is a set of lowering springs that would lower it from stock height a little to eliminate/ reduce the 4x4 wheel gap.

There's already woefully little travel available if you are still using the stock tophats. Any less ride height and you'll be constantly banging into the bumpstops, if you aren't already.

There are a few sources for extended tophats but they aren't needed for good aftermarket shocks because they should have shorter shock bodies anyway (Xidas).

If you run the Bilsteins you will need extended tophats to prevent bottoming.
