An ACT HD with a street disc will probably hold 230-240whp. If you need more, stick a sprung 6-puck disc into it and it will hold 300wtq+.

If you want the best clutch for the car, hands down, look at 949Racing's site. I'm using their twin-disc ceramic in my race car.

My 1.8l ACT HD Street was holding 300+ ft lbs of torqe after the Spec stage 3+ rated at 400 ft-lbs would not.

Currently running a 1.6l ACT extreme 6 puck it is holding and works well. Its fairly light setup for such high torque. several pounds lighter than a 1.8l setup. What I really was trying to buy all along was the one Emilio came up with. And I think it was me who got Emilio talking to Power Train tech about building it in the first place. I just don’t have the money for it right now.

Been thinking about just biting the bullet and getting the 949 clutch. Just trying to justify it.

Anyone have the twin disk organic? This will be a street car that will see some track time pushing around 200-230lbs to the wheels.

Once you figure out that an ACT is $400, and the Fidanza 8lb flywheel is another $500, the extra few bucks to Emilio's clutch is easy to justify for the extreme weight loss.

ZM2-XTSS on a street car with no regrets. And my 105lb. wife doesn't think the clutch is heavy. Win-win.

I run that on my Greddy (1 bar) and my ACT HD w/ street disc has never slipped.
