Default TSE 11.75" BBK Rotor Options

Gents,

I have the 11.75" TSE BBK that uses the Wilwood Dynapro calipers, and Wilwood curved vane rotors, #160-12283/12284. The -12284 rotor is not available anywhere, and Wilwood says they won't have any until Juneish. The cheaper, straight vaned rotors are available, but they're crap. Is there another 0.81" thick rotor option that will fit the TSE hats?

Thanks,

That's good to know, thanks. I bought my last set of replacement friction rings from Summit Racing but the J-Hooks are not that much more expensive.

Not so good...

I called AP Racing in North Carolina. That size rotor--11.75", 0.81" thick, 8 lug 7" spacing--is something they are no longer manufacturing, at least right now. They had zero J-hook rotors in stock in that size. They had no R/H plain face rotors. Luckily, I need a L/H rotor. They had 59 L/H plain face in stock. I ordered two. Normally I wouldn't mix manufacturers--I have a couple of new R/H Wilwoods--but I believe there will continue to be supply problems.

Always cross shop Coleman Racing. They make rotors for a lot of manufacturers and have any rotor you could want in that size since it's a common circle track size.
