225/45/15 Hankook RS3 source
225 50 15 works fine on a NA I only got alil rubbing, on the front inner fender liner when fully laoded at speed and turning it has since worn down to where i get none though. Rears have a ton of room, and on the fronts the only thing to worry about imo is that inner fender well plastic ****.
Currently on the car are 6UL 15x9's with 225/45-15 RS3's (that's what's in my sig pic)... the pics I posted were of my other 6UL set which had 225/50-15 RE-71s and 15x6.5s with 205/50-15 Azenis RT-215s.
I'm with Sav... I don't think 225/50's are usable on a lowered NA, though it may depend on what brand, as different manufacturers tires will vary in any given marked size.

I'm ordering R2R's on Monday.

I called all the sources on the hankook website and no one had them. NT01's should be here Monday.
It also helped that the local discount tire direct matched discounttire.com AFTER tax, making them 125 a tire before tax (only 10 dollars north of the RS3)

We actually got 225/50 V710's (which are fat) on 8's on our NA. Fl;at roll, no pull. Shoulders rub the shock tower bulges at full bump with -2.5° in front but they were fast. Customer in Chicago has an NA with 9's and 225/50 V710's, flat roll, no rubbing.

Nope, no V710's and loaned my last set (3 actually) of new NT01's to FM for MRLS next week. I'm sure google will turn up the info though.

With an inch more tread width I can see why they're fast... looks like it may depend on your ride height/camber whether they'll rub though.
