Default Bent one my Kosei K1

I am looking to see if someone may have one setting on the shed or corner of the garage.

Kosei K1 16x7.5 43 offset 4x100

I tried Tirerack and they don't have any in the 16" size with 4x100 bolt pattern.

Kosei does not make the K1 in a 16 anymore only the 15 so you have to find one used. I am scared I am going to bend one of mine and not be able to find a replacement as well.

I've heard of people using some place called "the wheel doctor" or something like that to get their cracked/bent wheels fixed. I don't know if it's just a local thing around here but it's probable worth a look.

There is a place around here, too

NuWheel - Tucson, AZ They charge $125 to straighten the wheel and then you have to repaint it or powder coat it for another $25 - $30.

I wanted to try to find another wheel or two. It looks lik a good thought, but not easily done.

Everywhere has wheel fixing places. The original was Ye Olde Wheel Shoppe in Elkridge, MD. I've had mixed reviews with them. A long time ago they fixed some 3 piece BBS wheels for me and they turned out great. Some time after that I had two wheels fixed and found they were overpriced compared to some other local places (Wheelworx), took longer, and didn't do as good of job.

How bad is it bent? Get a rubber mallet and bang it back out. Race wheel or daily driver?

Daily Driver - I did the Wilwood conversion with 11" rotors, so the old set does not fit anymore. It is not bad. I get a vibration at certain speeds which I try not to drive at.

I am fishing with the hope of one or two coming to the surface. I will pick them up, get them refurbished, replace my bent one and then refurbish it.

I have not really tried it at speed to see if it is an issue. I have it on the back right now.

Wait, I don't get it, it vibrates at certain speeds? What speeds?

If it doesn't happen at all speeds, sounds more like the 65mph shimmy than a bent wheel to me.

It shows up at about 45 mph. I have never had the 65 mph shimmy. I found out the rim was bent when I got some new tires. The shop showed me on the tire balancer.

In DFW

TLC and Wheel Technologies. Ive used both. Most of the time we get next day turnaround, fixed everything but a warped face, had them change colors, fix bent wheels, and fix curb rash.

Biggest problem I ever had was color slightly off and the fixed it for me. Couldnt blame them it was a weird charcoal on some enkeis.

Fraking Bimmer wheels. The GF's Z3 has 4 bent stock wheels. I'm afraid to get them straightened due to the fear of them bending again.
