Noticed these when I was checking the GRM classifieds this morning. Offset is a little more than ideal I think.

Talked to the guy with the CL ad for Konig Feathers and got better pics.

They have Advanti center caps on them...but Konig casting stamps.

He claims they're made by the same manufacturer. I'm fine with replicas...just worried about weight.

Anyone have experience with Advanti?

I found a great local deal for the 16x6.5 stockers...but am not sure if I'll enjoy the 215/40 on these wheels.

Will I see too much sidewall movement in cornering?

So...cueball's batting 1.000...

He gave me the pointer on the tire deal...and gave the best advice for a wheel to put them on.

Patience paid off, along with some research. The 215/40-16 will mount well on the OEM 16x6.5" 5 spokes...this combo is actually VERY popular with the Mini AutoX crowd.

miata_racer from m.net is local to me and happened to put up a CL FS ad this morning for a set of the wheels, at $150 which I can't pass up. They are scratched up track wheels but I'd like to refinish them anyways.

Now I just have to decide if I want to polish them or paint them graphite.

Thanks for the pointers...looking forward to more grip.

He should charge a consulting fee.

I go through CL spurts...I'll check religiously for a few days...then forget about it for a week. Guess when all the deals happen? When I'm not paying attention of course.
