Default WTB: 1.6 CAS in DC area

Hey guys,
The CAS on my 91 daily appears to have died. I'm hoping someone has one lying around their garage. Want local, cheap (preferably free!). I have a 1.8 CAS and top of other parts so can trade for that

Anyone? I guess my hopes of finding one locally for cheap has failed.

Anyone with a CAS non-local? Actually willing to pay for one now.

I thought the 1.8 and the 1.6 CAS were interchangeable.

Awesome, I'll try the 1.8 CAS and if that doesn't work I'll take it.

I think they are "different" but put out the same signal to the ecu. Give it a try.

I have a cas of some sort that's been modified in some way I forget.

It's the magnetic one.

yeah so the timing belt was broken. found a spare one in my garage, car runs like a champ.

oil pump appears to be leaking a ton of oil but it's a 180k engine and I figure it'll last a winter before I tear it down.

I gave that head to someone else before I moved. I do not think there was a cas in it.

On a related note... the old timing belt actually looked pretty good (no cracks) but had oil sludge on it. A leak from the oil pump would cause it to deteriorate pretty quick, right?
