lol, I'll tell you who doesn't know: the "Miata expert". Stock rods from a T25-frame turbo will hold up just fine at 10-12psi - you don't even need a built motor at the power level that will produce, ~200-220whp.

Be very wary of any other advice that guy gives you.

I wouldn't trust stock rods at 250hp.

I mean I *DO* trust my stock rods at 250 hp, but I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. When I pulled the 250hp-subjected stock rods out of my 2001 donor motor, not one was perfectly straight. All of them were totally intact, but just slightly wavy.
