You could buy those aluminum fuel rail extrusions and make your own. Buy the drill bit that's the correct size, mark the spots, drill, make your own brackets with some strips from lowes, buy a pipe tap and tap the ends for fittings....be done with it man.

I unfortunately suck at fabricating. It would be even more epic failboat me trying to to do that, then the ordeal I went through trying to buy one.

So this is the recap of my week so far.

Over the weekend I cannot get rid of my fuel leak. It is mentioned that the angle of the mounting is different between then NA and NB heads. The 99 fuel rail I had a box knocked on it and bent from my damn cat. So I needed a new one. On Monday I order one from Panic Motorsports because they are 100 miles away and I figured it would get here Tuesday and i was to lazy to drive. So it failed to show up Tuesday, it came today which is a big fail for USPS. I immediately go out to my car and try to put it on, I can not put on my 94 FPR any way and have it work. So I go get my old 99 fuel rail and compare them, and they are different. I call up Steve at Panic and tell him about it. He says he will get one shipped out to me today. I tell him I will be out in 2 hours. I am tired of my car not working. So I drive out and we discover that there are 2 different 99/00 fuel rails and then another one for the 01+. With my luck he actually has none of the ones I need. Well he had one but it was fucked up worse then the one I already had because of an accident. He had 5 or 6 of each of the other 2. So I am depressed.

I then call FM salvage and ask them, they say they do no have any. I then ask about their dual feed kit. They price it at $370 because I need to buy an external AEM FPR. I pass. I then call Mazmart and they say they have one of the correct type I need. It was shipped out UPS and hopefully it gets here tomorrow or Friday.

On the Plus side I did get my VVT controller ordered and it should be here Saturday. So if I get the car running Friday, it should be installed right when I get it.

Woot post a pic of your bent up rail. I'm curious how bent it was that a good torquing down wouldn't straighten

You cannot really tell but the end with the flange is bent down towards the head to much to unbend. I will try to get another picture in the morning

Thanks for posting your build and refuses to sell me the fuel rail because it doesn't fit my engine. Good karma to you from now on.

No problem at all. I did not want you to make the same mistake that I made.

God decided today he would just **** with my a little bit. My fuel rail did show up at 5:05PM. I got it installed in about 10 minutes. Tomorrow I might actually drive my car. Who thinks I can put 500 miles on my car in a day to break in the clutch just so I can get into boost sooner?

500 mile break in??? What kind of clutch do you have again?

For 500 miles you could drive to Atlanta, get your car stolen, and walk home.

You can put boost on a new clutch just be gentle and don't slip it.

I will be running a FM2 clutch. I think standard break in procedure from both FM and ACT say to put about 500 of city miles on the clutch before boost. If you guys say I can do less I might be tempted to. We will see how things go tomorrow.

My car starts and the fuel leak is gone. Right now I am getting a slight oil leak out of my oil input for the turbo and I will fix that in a bit. On the negative side of things my HF timing light sucks ***** and does not work. So I am going to go pick one up from Bob tomorrow morning. I also think I have a vacuum leak somewhere. What is that spray that you can use to find vacuum leaks?

Also in TS my wideband does not read correctly. It reads .10 and that is it. While my AFR gauge reads fine. So tomorrow should be the day that I get to drive my car.

I use soapy water for vacuum leaks, not sure of the more technical spray.
