What is funnny, is that in boost my AFR's are actually a little richer then they need to be so I am in luck there.

So I adjusted my wastegate down as much as I could to try to lower boost. I turned my overboost on to 255kpa. Got on the throttle a few times and ended up hitting 253kpa. ******* chinese waste gate. I want a nice 10psi for now so that I can actually do a WOT pull until redline. Fuel in boost is fine, actually a little richer then it needs to be.

So I had a little time to finally look at it. The waste gate does not open. It is apparently getting stuck on something on the down pipe. So probably Monday I will put the car back on jack stands and pull off the turbo and figure out why. It makes me sad, although 21PSI was fun.

When you said you were failboat, I imagined much worse than that.

I will see if I can get it all off tomorrow afternoon before I head to the track. I am working out at CMP this weekend so most likely will not really have a chance to fix it until Monday.

Well hurry up and get building. Maybe if I send you some 6 packs of beer to your work it will help speed you up.

From the ebay add last year I think it said the waste gate was for 10psi, but I am not positive. I might see if I can find someone with an air compressor locally and try that.

Or I just pull the turbo off which will probably be more of a bitch.

Dude, just use a bike pump with a gauge on the side. its accurate enough to work fine.

So if I discretely hand you an extra $20 will that get you to finish mine faster? I can not wait for some absurdlow goodness to touch my engine.

I also expect some pretty pictures of the work being done.

Just for clarification: When I saw my waste gate is not opening I mean the flapper will not open into the DP. The flapper moved fine when it was off the car, so I think it is hitting something in the DP and causing it not to open.
