George makes $5.15 more than he would have without the tax, John pays 15 cents more than before the tax, and Jose loses $5 that he would have received without the tax.

Who pays for the wall?

In 2013 alone, the state department estimated that $19 billion - $29 billion was sent across the Mexican border as proceeds from the trade off illegal drugs. If the wall reduces that by 5% for 50 years, then who pays for the wall?

Anyone paying $5 for a Mexican avocado, even in January, is an idiot. Treasure Island Foods here in Chicago has nice, big Haas for $1.5 each.

I'm curious as to which cases involving a woman's access to contraception have gone to the Supreme Court in recent memory?

They're probably making a reference to defunding PP going to SCOTUS if pushed through by state legislatures or congress.

And things like this:
"Judge Gorsuch’s similarities to Justice Scalia extend into several areas of the law. Since his appointment in 2006, by President George W. Bush, he has voted consistently in favor of religious-liberty claims, such as requests for exemptions for private companies and religious nonprofits that oppose the Affordable Care Act’s contraceptive mandate."

Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. is one that come to mind. Remember, most SC cases aren't direct attacks on the basic right but attempts to chip away.

Thank you.

In this case, Mexico paid for the wall, in the form of a reduction in their effective wholesale price for avocados. We are effectively taxing Mexican avocado producers something more than 50% of the nominal value of their product, while presumably maintaining the retail cost to the US consumer unchanged, or possibly even lowering it, depending upon the size of my take.
