In the Student for Fair Admissions v. UNC case, Justice Clarence Thomas asked defenders of affirmative action admissions policies how diversity benefits higher education.
Specifically, Thomas asked North Carolina Solicitor General Ryan Park, who is defending the race-based affirmative action program, for a “clear idea of what the education benefits of diversity at the University of North Carolina would be.”
“I’ve heard the word ‘diversity’ quite a few times, and I don’t have a clue what it means. It seems to mean, ‘everything for everyone,’” Thomas said. “I’d like you to give us a specific definition of diversity in the context of the University of North Carolina.”

I'm late in the second season now. Better story, better writing, more consistent characters (bugged me about BG), more interesting tech (it doesn't take over the story, though).
Please no spoilers. This is a really good show.

Putting aside the jocularity of the above exchange, this is perhaps the best casual-scholarly dissertation I have seen of JFK's famous I am a jelly donut speech.
And, also, many of the bad things which happened in that part of Europe, at that time.
