Default I need to recirculate my BOV, help!

BOV.png?t=1286573106

Circled in the picture is my current BOV. It seems to be a no name brand, cheap one. But right now I still have the MAF and I'd like to stop the idle problems I'm having and stuff like that. But, I'm unfamiliar with how to do it. Right now I know I need to connect the opening of the BOV with a tube or something to the intake tube (before the MAF?). Now here's my questions; do I need a new BOV or can I get an adapter? And what part of the intake should I connect it to? In the coupler close to the turbo, or further down in the piping? And how should I go about doing this?

Anyone have any pics of a recirculated BOV? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tap intake tube, get a bung and a hose. Profit.

But I don't think my BOV has anywhere to connect a hose to... like anything for the hose to grab onto.

I can't see the picture cause I'm at work.

But from your description:
1) you need it to recirculate into the intake BEFORE the turbo and AFTER the maf. Not before the maf.
2) if bov opening has no way of claming a hose onto it you need a new bov. There are tons of used bosch and similar ones you can pick up for 20-30 bux that will get the job done for you.

you can also get a BOV with a anti stall valve on it. looks a little cleaner. i use a synapse with a anti stall valve, works great.

You probably need to replace that BOV with a recirculating valve. Turbosmart make a bunch that work really well, and it needs to be plumbed back into the system after the MAF, not before. No sense in re-metering the air.

Standalones are like moving buddies. As Woody said, "If you don't have one, Get one!"

My plan is to, but being in college makes money tough. Hopefully within the next year I can get a megasquirt.
