Truthfully, since you already have the 550cc injectors I would at least try to use them first. Since you have no emissions requirement, you may find them suitable. Heck, for all I know the AEM F/IC might be good enough to idle them perfectly- few of us have any direct experience with the AEM computer. (We're all to cheap to buy one, except when they go on sale for $50)
BTW, in Spain (from where I'm for originally) Coņo is not a bad word.
Ah, but you are now living in the Caribbean, mi amigo.

It's quite simple, really. You have obviously done some research, you have asked logical and reasonable questions, you haven't insulted anyone whose name appears at the left in blue or red, and you're not being an *******. Oh, and you actually intend to turbocharge your car.

Ok. Since you guys don't have much experience with the AEM F/IC let me post the question differently: If any of you were in my shoes and was going to go FI with bandaids for EMS for the time being and knowing that in the coming months you are for sure going with a Standalone, what would be the cheapest and safest option for that period of time?

And Joe, you don't know how right you are about the comment on the Caribbean; when I first got here I was almost punched in the mouth by 2 different guys because they felt I was insulting them! Looking back on it that was funny but not then.

Hey Magna, I've spent the last 2 days going over the MS manual and I think this suggestion of yours would be the best way to go in the short term.

If I read things correctly I can use the MS to act as a piggyback only controlling fuel and spark and let the car's ECU keep control of the rest for the meantime (while I wait for the DIY MS for the 96 to be in the market and tested).

Braineack: when will you be assembling new MSs? can I convince you to include one for me? Sorry, getting desperate

Ok, that would be too late for me anyways but thanks. I guess I'll have to try the F/IC and see how it goes. Someone with a 96 is going to get lucky in the coming months and buy it really cheap
