The newer BW turbos won't have much real world feedback for you. I know they are making inroads into the honda crowd over on HondaTech... Neogenesis on here also flirted with using one, I know he did some homework on them.
They are nice turbos... its just a matter of finding the right sized one. Inlet/outlet #s don't really tell anything.

People use garret turbos because that is what most people make manifolds for. The T3 flange is a real crowd pleaser- it supports every 1.8L sized application and many of the 1.6L ones as well.
For compressors, the T3 60" all the way up to at least the T04E .50 have 2" outlets. The biggest difference is compressor inlet size and wheel/housing size.
I think most people are running T3 .48 turbines with a variety of different housings. I've run a Stage 1 turbine wheel in the past and I run a Stage 3 now. I use 5 bolt AMG diesel housings but others run 5 bolt ford patterns or 4 bolt patterns and external wastegates. There are other patterns but those three are the most popular for turbine housings.
You can get 5 bolt ford based turbos in junkyards off the old 2.3L turbocoupes and mustangs if I remember correctly.
Old mercedes diesel sedans have the AMG housing.
A lot of shops sell the 4 bolt varieties.
You can run external WG with a 5 bolt if your DP blocks off the WG hole.

he put it up on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/schwi...spagenameZWDVW
apparently he doesn't know much about the turbo either because a lot of info is missing. gotta go find neogenesis i guess. and well beerslurpy i guess i gotta find something with a t3 flange or see if i can find something that mates with this turbo as far as manifolds go.
now one other thing. sourcing these turbos from old cars at junkyards is probably gonna require some sort of rebuild (possibly more than the turbo itself right?)
