wideband O2
so I'm gonna make the plunge and get a wideband, gotta be safe! but which one?
my choices seem to be either LC-1 with gauge for $290 from innovative, or the AEM with gauge for $280 from flyin miata. I also have my mom's old laptop I could use, which would allow me to get the LC-1 without the gauge for $199? does anyone know of a another option? or somewhere else I could pick up any of these options for cheaper? any big issues with any of these chioces? I'm planning on getting a mspnp within the next year hopefully, if that makes any difference. thanks for the help!

i love my uego. havent had a problem with it since. i dont think many ppl have problems with them unlike the lc-1 that i keep hearing horror stories on. Plus i dont like the fact that you have to take it out every once in a while and free air calibrate it.
uego for 232 shipped on ebay.

any answers about whether or not I can get the LC-1 w/o gauge for any cheaper than $199 at speedware or anywhere else? otherwise I am slightly leaning towards the AEM, although I'd love to log my a/f numbers in a laptop and be able to look at them later, I'd be able to do that with the lc-1, correct?

You can log the AFRs on a laptop with the AEM or the LC1. The LC1 is nice and is probably a little more accurate than the AEM when it is installed correctly. I like my AEM very much though and the install is very simple. Either choice will be a wise one. You can get both the AEM and LC1 from Kelly@speedware.

Hmmmm....
I was at first going to get a Uego. Then hearing all the great things about the LC-1 and its ability to work alongside the MS, I was dead set on it.
What horror stories are we talking about here. I plan on getting my wb02 soon, so any insight on these issues would be awesome.

I read a few of them myself, but still wanted to ask people's opinion. just search for "LC-1" and you'll get a bunch of threads of people asking for help, sounds like its very sensitive to grounding problems?
