Ok, so I currently have a Flyin Miata Dual Exhaust for my 99. It looks like I need to just sell it and buy something else, since the NB stock is 2.25" And the MSM is 2.5"... However, it has been suggested to me to put in a reducer and run it on the MSM exhaust... That it would make slightly more torque.
Now correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't that just increase the EGT's to dangerously high levels and then burn out the muffler at the least?
*Update*
This was a;; based on BAD info I was given. The MSM and the 99 have the exact same size exhaust.

Ryu LIVES!!!!!!
Well, Sort of. On the first start up video, I had forgotten to put in the Oil Sending unit... So it ejaculated oil all over the garage. Also, the fuel pressure had not built up yet, which lead to a VERY rough start.
On this second attempt it fired up and ran better.... Still like **** though. My TPS is not reading in the MS2. I think I have a bad solder joint, but I am not sure yet. Also it is just dumping raw fuel out of the exhaust, so much that a cylinder is also being flooded out. So tomorrow, I will try and track down what all is wrong. However, IT RUNS!!!! And it did not explode!

I got to drive it today! First time since March 27th. It runs like crap, but it runs and it stay running! 1-4k no power. 4-5k It tries to drown itself in fuel, 5-7k.... HOLY ****!!!! There's the kick in the pants I was hoping for!
Now to find my exhaust leak, fix the slave cylinder and start working on the tune.
