I really like the splitter green, well see though spray painting is pretty easy.

Surprisingly the only person who said anything was the mail man. He told me green was "gay" and that i should have done red. He has seen the car go from stock to where it sits now. Seeing a change almost weekly. Kinda makes me wonder what else he see's...

As i came out this morning the paint looked like so:

I then proceeded to paint moar and bolt stuff back in:

View from the drivers seat of my car, Ill be installing some sort of blockoff plate for the bottom section of the radio surround. A few switches will be as follows:

Switch to activate all the gauges and LC-1 on, to keep them from flickering on and off when turning the car over.
AC fan will be activated regardless of power to everything else
Fuel pump- This will turn the fuel pump on so i can drain the tank and ad exactly the amount of fuel needed (like a spec miata)
Possibly wire in a switch for a rev limiter, so in the pits i can flip the switch and drive it no faster than 15mph, and it will sound bad ***

I was also thinking i would somehow dremel out a section and have the USB cord chilling right there for a nice flush plug in.

Pit limiter switch, lulz. Why not I suppose. You're keeping the center console then? Not sure I'm liking the painted pedals. They're going to look like crap once you use them for a while. I say wire wheel them and call it good.

Spray painted grip tape, well see how it holds up

This car wins simply for having a dash support which doesn't look like it was pulled from the ocean floor. Even the bars in 20k southern cars look like ****.

Looks great ... I need to trim down my hobbies and social life so I can address the wiring as you did; I sure do appreciate the lack of **** dangling under your dash. Every time I poke around under mine I find a new non-oem wire from the PO.

best of luck finishing the build and keeping it off the walls once it's all together.

Things left to do:

1. Tighten the oil sandwhich plate down fully (slightly leaking when running)
2. Get and re connect the stock gauge hood
3. Protect the paint, going to get some helicopter tape for the doorbars and probably some clearbra stuff for the trans tunnel
4. Buy and install a 3 inch air filter
5. Wire up the rest of the switches
6. Passenger side belts and seat need to go back in
7. Splitter needs to get another coat of green to match the cage perfectly then reinstalled.

Ive got stuck on the TV show "lost" for the past few days and haven't really touched the car. Ill snap a pic of the car next time i take the camera into the garage.

Looks like i got seen again!

Why am I in this thread again?

What are you doing for heat abatement in the trans tunnel, and is it working?

Tape used carpet either to the underside of the transmission tunnel for stealthness, or the top of it for ease of installation. It works amazingly.

You're here because you want to look at pictures of what you're about to install in your car.

There's some BMW or Merc with a full interior and cage, wrapped with alcantara. It's gorgeous. SO gorgeous, I can't find a picture of it.

I'm still fighting the street car battle.

I can't really buy a truck, trailer, and store the trailer considering I live in an apartment, gas will get more expensive, and federal income tax is about to take $3800 more from my check annually. I prefer to drive my car to and from the track.

You should be glad; look at all the frivolous spending that does not create public sector jobs. Obviously the fed gov't has better ways to spend/manage your money on someone else.
