What's up everybody? Noob from NH, Miata-less right now but looking for the right one to pick up.

I have a 2.slow Impreza as my daily but I am looking for an all powerful '04-'05 MSM. I've only been searching for a few weeks though so I am sure I have a ways to go before I find the perfect specimen.

Before a couple N/A Subarus I drove an S4 for a while which was fun, but I am looking to get my first RWD car in a weekend warrior type of ride as the Subie is my AWD daily.

So just wanted to say hello, and I look forward to learning everything I can about Miatas (from the search button, don't worry) before I find a cherry to grab. Thanks for reading!

-Anthony

I laughed. Most expensive 155whp ever!

Welcome, Anthony!

I also chuckled at that.

It must be fast! It says Mazda SPEED!

I'm pretty sure he meant that tongue-in-cheek, but his post was also the first i read after a quick visit over to Miata.net.

Haha I'm glad that got a few laughs, and yes I was joking. I can't believe some of the cars on here... 300 horsepower in a Miata! Incredible.

But the MSM will be just fine for what I need. I figure throw a little enchilada kit on her and I'll have a nice little cruiser for pretty cheap money considering pretty much all other sports cars prices.

Sure I won't be like you guys with your 300 hp little rocketships, but with my track record on the pavement 200 hp to the wheels in a sub 3000 lb car will be just fine, and a huge improvement over this 2.slow tank of mine.

Thanks for the welcome Guys

No MSM ever saw less than 2000lbs. You were right the first time.

Yup, you were right. They are porkers from the factory at 2500lb. Though with basic weight redux you can get them down to 2350 easy.

I love my daily driver MSM with 226whp, it feels fantastic.

One thing I'd recommend if you get one, a proper EMS will make as much a difference as the little enchilada.

EMS, I will be looking into that immediately. If you catch a MSM for sale that you think is a nice example with low miles, let me know! 226whp

Hmmm since I don't know much about her, I am going to offer 7K and a 12 pack, let me know if that works for you!
