New from Raleigh NC
Hey everyone!
I've owned my '91 miata for a year and a half now. My miata is my only car so it is daily driven. I like to consider myself a bit of a track rat. I have a few track days under my belt (@Virginia International Raceway) and I've recently "gone solo". I'm on a tiny budget so I don't get to drive very often, I feel like this has hindered my development as a driver so I am looking for cheaper ways to stay involved in the racing community between events.
My car is pretty typical of a budget track miata. It is not pretty, fast, or comfortable, it is just functional. It's a learning tool, not a race car. It was cheap and it already had good parts on it so I bought it. One day I'll toss the rusty chassis and swap all my parts over to a better car. I was told this was the place to go to learn about fabrication and track prep, so here I am.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
