your cam input is wonky. there's no activity on it in your composite log.

looks like it's wired correctly and the pull-up is correct, so unsure why.

So i decided to dig out the spare CAS i have and wire it up directly to the module on the bench. See picture below for awesome test benching. It does the same thing here on the bench. so that leaves a setting, bad DIY board/component or some up with the megasquirt card. I emailed diyautotune hoping that they might be able to give me some diagnostic info for testing it or get lucky and know what is up already. I really hope it is nothing major.

I welcome and appreciate any more advice you could give me on this.

I was also doing some testing. Got to R50 on the micro squirt board. It measures 4.58 kohm. From the schematics it should be 10k?? Resistance up to it is sub 1 ohm. Same on the other circuit up to U4.

After discussing and additional testing from diyautotune support, it was determined that the microsquirt board is at fault. Unfortunately it is out of warranty so they gave me the name of someone who repairs them. I will be sending it out and seeing where that gets me. Thanks for all the help from everyone here.

I would like to give a quick update on this problem. I ended up working with DIYautotune support and we came to the same conclusion that there was something messing with the CAM signal. We thought it could be the Microsquirt board. Unfortunately it was out of warranty, so they hooked me up with Peter at PFtuning. I sent it out to him and he found a couple of bad solders in the microsquirt connectors. He fixed them for me and sent it back to me. total was 126 shipped back to me.

Got the MS home and reloaded a base map. Turned the key and it fired right up!! Soooooo Happy with this purchase and the services of Peter. installed and mounted the wideband today and will be tuning tomorrow. Got the timing set to 10 degrees the best i could but i have found that my pulley has slipped and puts the timing mark way off.

Thanks again for all those who helped me sort this out!

Brain, what settings do you use for your method of the AC wiring?
