yeah not close.


The issue here is running parallel. no one ever measured the stock resistance so it was hard for someone like me to say yeah it's X because I didn't know. I only made two 94-95 MSs so far and never had a chance to get any feedback till just recently. If I had a 96-97 and I wanted correct values and I want the fans to kick on, I for one wouldn't use R7, since the CPU triggers the fans. then I'd simply pull out the DMM, measure the resistance on the CLT ouput on the ECU, nd use that value which is most likely 1500 or so for the bias. Then pull the thermosensor itself and measure the sensor's resistance values.
