I'm having trouble getting the car to turn over nicely in the 40-60 degree CLT range. The msq file is basically the MSPNP 9495 file with a REQ_FUEL of 13.2. I have a stock 97. The 40 degree entry started at 8.2 ms and that was the worst of the data points I tried. The engine would die 1-2 times before I got it started.

Here are some logs I took while trying to crank the engine in the morning on 3 separate days with the cranking pw for the 40 degree data point changed to the value in the filename. 9.2 ms seems to crank the best, but that data point had a higher initial CLT and still didn't start nicely. From what I've been reading 9.2 sounds too high. Any advice? Should I stick with 9.2+ and try changing the ase since it looks like it gets out of the cranking mode and into ase mode pretty well?

I ran easytherm today and it made cranking (and everything else) a thing of beauty.

Go into your "cranking settings" and change "fire priming pulse" to "after 2 seconds".

Put back all the stock values from MSPNP and try again with the above settings changed.

I had the same issue you did until I changed the above.

I tried the initial cranking pw settings with a delay of 2 seconds out this morning (forgot to get the log), but it died off right away on the first crank and then started up with only minor hesitation on the second - 51 degree CLT. Maybe I went the wrong way before with the cranking pw?
