Default Did I install this right? And HKS turbo timer question...

IS this how the turbo goes in???

Just kidding! It's gonna be awhile before I actually install it, still gathering parts and researching.

I picked up an old-*** HKS Timer for a six-pack of Bass Ale today and wondering if anyone has any idea where the wires go. I figured out the ground, but thats it.

Please don't laugh too hard, I'm going for a "retro" theme with my interior gauges. The connector is a three prong and has a red, blue and green wire running back to the timer. There's also a grey wire running from timer with a female connector on the end. Any ideas?

That HKS turbo timer is a relic,you should see if HKS will buy it back from you so they can put it on display in their museum.

Haha, don't tell me, you installed the charge pipe backwards and on the inlet side.. nice.

It's ok though, I'm an ex Honda owner too:

i think spike laid it out pretty good. but if you want to confirm the stuff. slap a multimeter down there and check the voltages.

i think when i installed my apexi one, i used the search function here and found some good information too.

heres mine, you set it like an egg timer and it does the turbo timing from wherever you set it.

^Thanks. Rattle can Krylon Olive Drab Satin exterior, Rustoleum Army Green Enamel interior. Waiting for the next shipment of cans from the local Walmart cause I bought the last 8 cans. Still needs another coat or so. More pics and info: http://clubroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6653

As for the HKS timer, thanks for the info but I'm still confused about this:

wires for the ignition harness for miata.

white=b+
blue=1g1
black/red=1g2
black/white=acc

I don't see anymore wires coming from the antiquidated timer. I'm I missing something?

And sid, that rocks. "Hey man, is that an old clock on your dash?"
