Based on what I've read, they added watercooling because the more compact design places the rubber diaphram closer to the heat source.

Soooooo a friend tested in the FactorX NSX (only 900whp) and I hear they went through more than 4 MV-S wastegates and finally both seized closed and they managed to pop the intercooler with over 35 or 38 psi of pressure, lol.

I'm going to see if TiAL will hook me up with the parts to convert mine to water cooling so I don't have to deal with this.
