Well I punched in a buddys time and power and it was lower by almost 1 second. The guy has an 89 Daytona with approx 500whp, car weights 3400lbs and so far hes only managed an 11.9. Granted thats not at sea level and its a fwd car.

Pshh, it says my car should do a 13 flat but the best I could squeeze out yesterday was a 13.8... Granted I was on heavy 16" wheels with bald tires that were discontinued years ago (read: aged and slick) so my launches suffered terribly... But still!

well launches are everything! maybe thats why ???

but yeah there is too much thats goes into getting a good run to trust some calculator on the internet, still kinda cool to play with.......like 600 hp on 100lbs car. lol. but like i said too much comes into play: wheel/tire size, tire pressure, fwd or rwd, altitude, yada yada blah blah etc etc........

for my car, I have done lots g-tech runs and (when it was n/a) and ran 15.6 on the street and it says that I should have 110whp...Possible on a 1.8 with intake exhaust I suppose.

The thing with the g-tech is you have to launch properlly, no wheel spin/hop has to be smooth.

you can have it optimize the launch. It seems to take a lot into factoring times. not sure if it's any more accurate...

if i had a better reference for friction coeficient i could optimize it to the grip of my tires but this still doesnt take into acount wheel hop i get if i realy lay into it from a start.i obviusly havent done this to often as the dif still works knock on wood but once or twice just to see what she would do
