Hmm, maybe a bronze, gold, or nickle?
I have to say I threw a bronze 6ul on my mariner and it didn't look great, you certainly have a different blue than I though.
It's just a shame such a great paint job is turned sour with those plastic looking wheels, sorry. I could understand not wanting to work on it any more and just driving though.
Just do a bunch of heavy stops, the brake dust will take care of the color.

Look what you started martin...
To be honest TRM C3M's are so dirt cheap that when I replace my tires I will most likely just order a set mounted/balanced on new wheels from Tire Rack and then just sell these. Then I will choose a new color...probably the brighter silver.
