Just want to point out, I call it a business loosely. It is an idea I've been growing with people close to me following my advice and help, it isn't my main source of income, but I am completely obsessed with how the human body can change and do what it can do. I helped a friend of a friend lose from 250lb to ~200lbs in I believe around 20 weeks or so, but he is WAY stronger than I am after all that, proud of the dude for sticking with it. Loosing weight from a higher place, especially the people in the 300lbs range takes an insane level of commitment and those people are really inspiring. I find energy from helping them. I'd love to actually make a living off off it, so I am chasing that.

I didn't start a powerlifting focus until about August '16, my total from December was 905lbs. Weighing 172lb, lean mass near 155lb. So I am not a very big dude at all. Aiming for 1000lb total in summer, mostly from my dead. Most of my training focus has been in that 40-70% range for that lift, greasing the groove to just get more efficient at the lift.

Same here, although owned each on maybe a shorter time frame than I realized then. I had a 1972 and a 1971.

 

'75 (surprise!) with a P90 and 5 speed. It was an awesome car. Dash was crack free!

 

dash was nice ... but I could Flintstone it through the floorboards on the driver's side.

 

My 1972 was the same a MASSIVE hole in the doglegs I found after I bought it.

My 71 though...I didn't realize what I had at 18. Man, that was clean even if it was 10 years old. The dash was ruined, but the car was as rust free as my miatas have been. Had the old school L28 F54, flattops, E30 head and a moderate cam with ported SU's. Screamed happily to 7000rpm. Slow tears for the missing Z.

 

Got this now. Couple questions:
1.) Is it cool if I just run m14x1.5 to a barb and use rubber lines for the water lines?
2.) The bov just needs a MAP signal from the intake side?
3.) And the EBC solenoid has 3 ports, I read the instructions, but it sounds like I just leave the "vent port" open?

 

Also, I have 6an sized fittings/stainless line I was trying to use for this, that will be fine for the oil feed? EFR has built in restrictor so it should be fine.

 

Make sure you get fittings setup for copper washers with the straight metric thread. Orings will die.

Copper washers, got it. Similar to a crush washer for oil drain plugs I'm guessing.

My idea was just rubber solution for the water lines so I don't have to tap anything extra for now. Stainless 6an for the feed from the oil port on the side of the block, then 10an drain to the suggested 3/8npt, sound good?

 

Two things, getting closer to needing a 3" exhaust made, I may just wait until March to order from Artech, but then that is another 5-8 weeks after that to receive the exhaust. Any suggestions for around my location?

Also, pertaining to this, a tuner in the area? Just want somebody that knows miatas and megasquirt to make good, reliable numbers.

 

-4 on the oil feed if its under 18". -6 above this length.

Make sure to use high temp rubber.

-10 is good for drain. You can (almost) never go to large on this.

 

oh and on the drain, dont use the NPT threads in the housing, use a 2 bolt flange to -10 AN adapter.

 

That's what I planned, the NPT was from oil pan to AN drain line.
