This thread is like a daytime soap. It sounded like a good idea to the director but when it aired it was actually crap...

 

I say over 400 hp only because the last setup maxed out at 399 so this one has to be 400 plus. From what I have seen of Fae's car and rode in it I would even venture to say 450hp range as far at TQ not a clue.

He's still unbanned, so all we need now are his numbers... and a plot.

 

Sources tell me that the dyno was having serious load issues. That's why in the street vids the car makes 35psi quickly while the dyno vids don't have the car making 30psi until right before redline. You can see the QSV open in one of the vids, it's opening at 30psi and right around 6500rpm and hardly making 2psi @ 6000rpm

It's not an excuse, it's pretty much exactly as I called it when the vids were posted. It's a load issue on the dyno. Watch the street vids, the car builds boost like mad.

Not defending Fae in any way here, but I'll second the idea that the dyno operator failed. The local shop that has a DynoDynamics gets it right most of the time, but sometimes they overload a car and it seems to perform like absolute ***** on the rollers. Same problem with a car not building boost as it does on the street and sounding like it's being held back.
