They are all the same turbo just sold by different ebay sellers. I thought you wanted to know which one I had. That's the one.

On its way is a GT2871. I will be ordering 1000cc ID injectors, some SuperTech pistons, forged rods (undecided), and will be rebuilding the 99 I have in the shop. Question on rods, any forged rods should work fine right? I put a set of $216 ebay forged rods in my current 1.8 and it seems to be doing just fine. I am looking at these but there's not much info on them MAZDA1 6L 1 8L B6 BP 323 Miata Protege H Beam Rod 5 230" A Set of 4 w Arp Bolts | eBay

Hopefully I will be building my rollbar this weekend. After the rollbar I plan to get an oil cooler and then a paint job. After that I feel I will be satisfied until I want more power

The Chinese forged rods on ebay seem to be working great for everybody using them.

That's what I currently have and they seem to do fine. Now I need to find where to buy my supertech pistons from.

It hits the hard top a bit but other than that I am happy. Next weekend it will get door bars and get finished up, the 1 3/4" tubing is a bitch to work with

Looks good Justin. Is that where you work?

I'm thinking I need to get a membership at MSR-C and then borrow your car. You don't mind if I "break" it in for ya', do you? LOL

Thanks! And no, this is at my buddies house.

I hope to be at MSR-C again very very soon. I need a oil cooler before I feel confident with my ride but I may wait til that 99 and new turbo are in the car!

Have you came to any conclusions on your ride, Rick?

Haven't messed with it. In addition to the coolant loss, I also had a bunch of oil coming from the front crank seal. This is on a loktited-crank nose -- didn't really want to dig into that mess again. So, I ordered a crate engine that should be here after the first of the year. I'm just going to swap it out and do a nice reroute at the same time. In the meantime, I can stay focused at work (I hope).

BTW, my car wasn't dragging my driveway even in its new, lowered state. I think it's that big-*** exhaust system you have!

A new crate engine or used? Not a bad decision, I am debating spending my Christmas bonus on stuff to build my "track car" or to put that 99 in. Decisions decisions.

You need to get you a big *** exhaust! Since the car will be down for a month or so, Ab may be able to squeeze you in so you can have a REAL exhaust

Reman longblock from one of those outfits that builds hundreds every year.

I know I need a real exhaust. Problem is, it will likely bump me at least 30HP (that's what Curly saw). Why is that a problem? It'll break my 6" VLSD. Plus, it's just that much more car for my daughter who will be licensed next month. I think I'm just going to keep the status quo for a bit. Car is still a blast to drive.

That roll bar looks pretty kick-***. How much did it end up weighing?

I'd like a new rearend and transmission as well, Hell I want a new car!

Weight wise Idk. Roughly 40lbs but safety is my concern! The new turbo will compensate for it

Well it is time to get moar boost! Finished buying the parts needed to build my 99 engine and plan to throw my GT28 on there as well. This should be finished up around February if not sooner.

Also bought some bucket seats. I really want to rip out the A/C and P/S and make this a street track car. Suede the dash and doors, custom panels, bla bla bla.

Also I added door bars! I don't have painted pics or pics of the car put together but I will have some soon.
