One of these days I will send you out your clutch. It just needs to be put in a box and shipping label put on.

Looking at the exact same lincoln powering 210mp. Sweet little machine - let us know how it works!
Also, would love to see more detail picks around the front control arm area. I know salvagewon makes their own upper control arms, correct? I think they maintain the frame rails and weld up new brackets... irk, interested in seeing how you work it. Also, any detailed intro about how the a pillar of the cage is secured to the car? Seems like its kinda floating out there, all shear? Keep bringing the nasty! |

They retain the oem arms - everything designed around keeping the drivetrain oem (if you want).
I got some more goodies come in yesterday! TSE's new bbk - the pictured ring are my 2yr old spares. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1452918670 And so my small workshop has been crammed with these big ass freezers i work on that's chewing up my workspace and hindering my ability to work on the cars. So I'm expanding parking area for my trailers and to also be able to put a 20 or 40' storage container close to the back of the shop so i can get the crap out of my shop. It's a mess now, so as soon as I get my septic in, I'll bring in a box start getting my shop to what out used to be - nice and roomy to work on cars! https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1452918670 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1452918670 |
Thanks for that response. You're totally right, stock drivetrain if you want.
I meant to say, don't you remove/reinforce the front strut towers and mounting plate? Also, due to dropping all the weight on the car, what manufacturer for shocks/struts are you going with, and what spring rates? I saw Koni earlier... |

I'll re-verify that though - might be 500/300. |
I've got 500/300... went with the little extra in the front because turbo stuffs. Should be great on track!

Take pictures of the cut areas please. Preferably with a measuring device attached, so the Eliminator-wrenchers that come after you have some references!

This donor was hit pretty good on the pass side, it'll be Frankenstein cool, but Robert will make it work. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1458179212 |

And so I see the Doc next Monday - for real, I need something! The beer is pleasant and all, but the only thing I'm getting ahead in is my weight!
I had a buddy come in and lay down some paint - it's a nice dark blood red with metallic flake :) https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1461199857 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1461199857 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1461199857 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1461199857 I didn't get it done, but paid someone to do it. I just drank beer and watched :) |
